Academic Merit Awards

1)    Introduction

Daystar Academy offers exciting and enriching Academic Merit Awards aimed at stretching and developing individual talent for the benefit of the whole community.

These awards recognize academic achievements. Awardees are students who rank in the top 10% of each grade level. The top 3 students will also receive a “Daystar Scholars” certificate.

 

2)    Award Criteria

·       High combined MAP performance

·       In addition to MAP performance, to be selected based on their overall subject grades (for Daystar Scholars only)

 

3)    Eligibility

Grade 5 to 12 students currently enrolled at Daystar Academy

 

4)    Auto Selection

Auto selection instead of application for Academic Merit Awards. The granting of Academic Merit Awards follows a selection process by the Scholarship Committee according to MAP/overall subject grades.
