Health & Safety
Students' health and safety is our foremost duty and priority at Daystar Academy. To fulfill that responsibility, we have a robust set of structures and practices to keep children safe.
Daystar Academy's School Clinic is staffed by qualified nurses who monitor children's health during school hours, help them with minor ailments, and serve as liaisons to parents.
Students also have their temperature and throats checked regularly to maintain the health of our community, and all classrooms are disinfected daily.
Health & Air Purification
All campus buildings are equipped with air purification systems to ensure healthy air quality for students, faculty, and staff. Classrooms, common areas, and the gymnasium have fresh air filtration, and we closely monitor the indoor air quality in all areas of the school, with PM 2.5 readings in all classrooms below 10. Other measures we take to ensure a healthy and safe environment:
Daystar Academy employs security guards 24/7, and parents and guardians wear a name badge on campus. All visitors are required to sign in, state their business, and escorted by a Daystar contact.
For pick-ups, students must be signed out by a parent or authorized guardian to leave school premises. Students on school buses must wear a seat belt, and all buses are equipped with air purification systems and qualified bus monitors to ensure orderly conduct and safety. Parents/guardians can track the location of their child's school bus through a real-time app.
