Our Teachers

Daystar Academy's talented and passionate educators put children's needs at the center of every day.  Organized in four tight-knit Casas (houses)–A, B, C, and D–the Early Childhood Education staffs every class with one English Montessori teacher, one Chinese Montessori teacher, one Virtues teacher, and one assistant teacher. 

All lead teachers are highly trained, with a minimum of five years of teaching experience. Each teacher holds an early childhood teaching certificate, and Montessori teachers also hold an additional AMS, AMI, NAMC certificate for Montessori professional qualifications.

Our  teachers quietly guide the students in their learning, help them make good choices, and actively lead them through favorite in-class activities like 'circle time.’During recess, teachers often play with the students and guide them to discoveries about nature.  This total engagement is the hallmark of Daystar's ECE faculty.
