Exercising your body is just as important as exercising your mind–and research shows that physical exercise boosts cognitive ability. That's why Daystar's Early Childhood Education students have outdoor play up to three times a day (weather permitting). And each week, they enjoy two Physical Education classes, a dance class, and two performing arts classes.
These young students put on two performances every year. The performance before winter break is relatively informal, while the Spring performance is a celebration of the Casa graduates, and the culmination of what they have learned that year.
These opportunities to perform on-stage build students' creativity, confidence, and self-esteem.
